Do you believe in fairy tales? Do you take “And they lived happily ever after” for granted? Have you ever wondered how their life could’ve looked like after the end of a tale? Maybe it’s possible that things didn’t turn out so great. Maybe in fairy tales happy endings are granted but in real life, the fact is that things can go wrong. And we need to be aware of that fact and to be able to recognise if fairy tale is turning into a nightmare.
The artist Saint Hoax has created a campaign with this exact cause and he’s been using images fairy tale princess to show how the horror of domestic violence looks like. He named the series of disturbing poster, which is meant to be precisely that, “Happy Never After”. The objective of “Happy Never After” is to encourage victims of domestic violence to report their attackers.
“When did he stop treating you like a princess?” the tagline of the campaign will stay long in your mind after you finish scrolling the gallery.

“Disney princess are perceived as ideal females. They belong to a fairytale land where happy ever afters are bound to happen. But what happens after the happy ever after?” Hoax told HuffPost.
“As a Middle Eastern artist, I always have the urge to voice out the injustice and inequality that takes place in my region.”
“Victims of abuse are not alone and it’s never too late for them to take a stand.”

With both his latest works ” Happy never after ” and ” Princest Diaries ” he made them uncomfortable to look at right?
And this is exactly the effect he wanted to make on the people watching
Victims of abuse are not alone, and it’s never too late to take a stand
While we always welcome cool art on our site, it is these things that can actually make a difference in someone’s life that matter the most
Don’t just ignore it, share with your friends so that even one person can be saved
