World renowned street artist Michael Aaron Williams has long created art that is considered thought provoking and stimulated social dialogue. When he poked around in an abandoned Appalachian store owned by his relatives, he made a wonderful discovery.
100 year old ledgers full of perfect paper for watercolor art. Now the Tennessee native has found a new niche to bring him fame. He uses this vintage paper, and paints on it with Coffee. The result is a delicate work of art so detailed that it resembles a daguerreotype.
William’s intricate coffee portraits speak to the higher power in all of us. Each piece is a mirror to the artists soul, carrying his mantra of the frailty of the human condition. Williams has a Bachelors of fine arts in Alabama, and went on to complete his Masters in Missouri. His art has been exhibited all across America, but you can see his work right now by checking his website, or FB page.
