The author standing behind this interesting digital collages is artist Eugenia Loli. Once a nurse, then a programmer, then journalist, Loli is now a successful artist. She first started to experiment with this collage technique in 2013; she used old vintage magazines and textbooks, scanned them on a computer and turned them into surrealistic images using Photoshop. She shared her work via Tumblr at first, and today her works can be found in prestige publications such as Wired Magazine, New Scientist, and Cosmopolitan (she also made the collage that appears atop this very publication).
