For 1000s of years men (and women) enjoyed the occasional flagon of wine. In a few gulps of the fruity concoction have they been the precursor to many brilliant sayings. Notable historical figures like the Caesars, Noah, Thomas Jefferson and Henny Youngman all have witticisms attributed to them after imbibing in the grape.
But no one really thought about how you look and react on wine till now. Brazilian photographer Marcos Alberti introduces his “3 fill glasses” series in which he photographs his subjects before, during, and after wine. Each model starts sober then after the first glass seems more relaxed, the second, a bit silly, and the third downright liberated.
The Difference between the control in the first photo and warm spontaneity of the third is a testimony to the power of wine.
