Designer Derek Pearce is creating extraordinary pieces of furniture that can be described with many attributes but certainly, can not be called ordinary or dull. In his creative work, he uses forms of animals like hippos or dolphins to make tables and tabletop glass is smartly used to create an illusion of water. Derek happens to be a very versatile person and probably his creativity is coming from that. His broad experience includes jobs such as a performer, stage carpenter, musical director, and teacher. Pearce’s been building his Water Tables since 1997, and they’ve since been exhibited and sold throughout America, Europe, and Japan.
