Did you know that a blobfish have no muscles? what about that houseflies can only hum in the key of F? these are just two examples of interesting animal facts most people don’t know. Illustrator Brooke Barker created a series of playful illustrations called Sad Animal Facts that highlights some of the surprising things we didn’t know about pigs,giraffes, hippos and goats. The facts are always accompanied by a charming drawings and commentary of the animal. You might think this is a depressing gallery , but when you really dwell on it you see it is only how we humans look at it, for example, a dog can’t see television, to us this is sad, but the canine doesn’t know that, he sees it as a chance to sit close to the person he loves.
