Meet British photographer Brock Elbank, Elbank is now halfway through his massive freckles project where he plans on photographing 150 portraits of people with freckles. So far he has shot 90 pictures and he plans on finishing the series on 2017 so he could showcase them.
Brock started this vivid project when he lived in Sydney and he was attending in his son’s Eddie football match, it was then when he met a kid with the most freckles he had ever seen, ” He was a great-looking character, so i asked John if i could shoot a portrait and that was the start of the idea in early 2012 ”
In mid-2015 Elbank started the #Freckles project full time after he moved back to the UK. ” I’ve always loved freckles. What i find interesting about individual characters that I have been fortunate enough to photograph is that many have struggled with their freckles since their infancy and either hated them, or grown to live with them or even like them in adulthood.” More info: Instagram
