Do you have a super power? Of Course not, but a super power is not just a superheroes’ thing; for example, artist Lianne Moseley can turn you into a superhero. Her superpower is a great gift applied in body art. Using make-up and body paint she manages to turn bodies of models into characters such as Captain America, Wolverine, Mystique… Sometimes she adds something special, her personal touch, to representations of famous comics characters, like turning them into zombies.
As you will notice in the gallery below, all models look like they’ve just popped up from a comic book. The great part of this kind of work is that perception is illusion; Moseley uses a lot of black lines over makeup on faces and paint on the bodies, which gives the illusion of black ink and the impression that they’ve just been drawn on paper.
