In the gallery below of cave pictures, Shone is taking you on an underground expedition with him. Due to his talent and creativity which he uses to find ways to illuminate mysterious dark spaces, you can enjoy the natural beauty of these hidden Earth gems. Talent and creativity are not his only virtues, he is also very courageous. Just imagining some of his standing points that was necessary for taking some of the photographs will make your heart bounce. Hanging from great heights, fighting rough underwater currents, and crawling through incredibly tight spaces, are just some of the activities in his job in order to bring us his stunning cave pictures.
According to his bio, Shone has “photographed the ‘deepest’, ‘largest’, ‘longest’ cave systems known to men. He’s hung on a thin rope, photographing [more than 650 feet] above the floor in the world’s deepest natural shaft; explored the far ends of a [more than 110 mile] long cave system; and spent a continuous 94 hours underground, in order to photograph the first cave to hold the [more than half a mile] depth record.”
