A creative mind will never take for the granted its chance to make a beautifully made product out of less valuable objects or what we call as trash. But actually, you don’t have to have a keen insight in order to come up with such an idea to at least lessen the worsening effects of climate change.
You just need to have a heart and a desire to do so. Just like the artist Kathleen Plate who is partnering with Coca Cola and Chick-Fil-A to bring the iconic coke bottles into its new use as part of her work on chandeliers.
On November 16, 1915, the classic bottle of coke was originated and still up to this day is considered an integral part of Coca Cola’s marketing. This classic design is being reinvented by an incredible artist whose specialty is glass works. Behind the normal process, Kathleen describes the glimpse of how she creates her chandeliers.
Chandeliers are like reflections of the classic traditional culture of families and group of people in a high class society. Kathleen’s creations are stellarly unique blends of old and new; conventional, but with a twist of modernization. All these are carefully and seemingly worked with a creative heart that appears to be simple yet an iconic image is hidden inside it.
