Synesthesia is a condition where some of your stimulations are joined in unusual combinations. It’s a rare neurological phenomenon that has not yet been fully explained. But one thing cool that people with this condition can do is to literally paint music. Melissa asked her brother when she was 15 what color is ” C ” was ( canary yellow ) and at that point she began experiencing the effects of her condition. <elissa actually experience music with colors and textures and then paints them! Besides experiencing music as colors, she also has a few other symptoms ” Each letter is colored and the days of the year circle around my body as if they had a set point in space. But the most wonderful ” Brain malfunction ” of all is the music I hear. It flows in a mixture of hues, textures and movements , shifting as if it were a vital and intentional element of each song ” Below is a selection of the songs she listened and painted with links to the songs.
