Tokyo, Japan radiates a brilliant neon light. If you walk the streets at night, you’ll become entranced by the glow. Brussels-based photographer Xavier Portela, took a visit to the neon city. He documented his trip in some amazing photos shown in this post.
I’ve always been more of a country girl, myself. But these photos make me want to take a trip to a place I’ve never thought to visit.
Tokyo at night is a surreal place. It seems that during the day it’s just like any other city but at night it comes to life. I’m so glad photographers like Portela exist. They can make the world around us seem so much more brilliant in photos. They often help us to see things that we wouldn’t otherwise notice.
