We just love the optimism of it all, how little Spidey is there, riding on the back of his cute sidekicks ready to save the world and sending out a clear message: “Don’t believe you’re too little to do something! You’re not!”. Not only great power can keep evil at bay, usually it is the small, everyday deeds of ordinary folks which save the world and Spider-Man is just that, a neighborhood superhero who can, eventually, save the planet. This gives us hope. The simplest acts of kindness and love are what can send villains back to the place where they came from. Moreover, Spider-Man also has to deal with the usual everyday problems of a teenager and he does that brilliantly, although he doesn’t think so.
