Kitsap Humane Society in Washington is doing a wonderful thing. They know that shelter dogs can get tired of quietly waiting for thier forever loving human to arrive and take them home, so they decided to make their time a little bit more amusing. The shelter’s volunteer Molly Clark came up with wonderful initiative and she takes dogs of this shelter on a Puppuccino (a small cup of whipped cream) at the local Starbucks once a week. In the photos below you can see the fun they have every Tuesday. The dogs are looking forward to this little trip with their human fellow Molly.
“They love it! Molly only select dogs who will not be stressed by the experience” the rescue’s Rebekah Johnson told Bored Panda. “However, Molly will bring Puppuccino’s back to the shelter to dogs who are unable to leave the shelter. There is no “one size fits all” shelter experience and KHS’ staff and volunteers goes to great lengths to ensure that each animal here at KHS receives individualised care and attention.”
The local Starbucks decided to support this initiative as well and to help the shelter dogs by posting signs about the dog of the week. We certainly hope that it will help these sweet pooches to find a forever home.
Kitsap Humane Society shelter dogs have an unusual weekly routine they look forward to.

Local Starbuck is helping the dogs by posting their pictures.
They call it The dog of the week and can make some of the visitors wish to adopt the pooch featuring the photo.
The Puppuccino Pals program was established and implies posting the pups on Instagram as well.
Puppuccinos are so yummy!
“[We use] the adorable pictures of them lapping up yummy whipped cream to give them exposure on social media to potential adopters!”
