Did you miss Star Trek? Like, the real, raw Sir Patrick Stewart kind of Star Trek? Well, here it is. Your wishes has come true: Enterprise captain, Jean-Luc Picard is back played by the one and only Sir Patrick Stewart. CBS All Access made a great decision into bringing back to life their biggest and most precious property: Star Trek. There’s been a lot of Star Trek, but it seems we still don’t get enough of it and the debate is still on: Which Trek series tops them all? Leave us your answer below. Who’s got Deep Space Nine?
Anyways, to get back to the real news here, unfortunately we still don’t know when we are going to get the new Star Trek series, but the official Star Trek twitter account let us know that it is going to be about “the story of the next chapter in Picard’s life”. Does it sound exciting? “He may not be a Captain anymore. He may be someone who has been changed by his experiences. We have no scripts as yet. We’re just talking talking talking storylines. It will be something very different but it will come to you with the same passion”, said Stewart about his character.
The actor also made an official statement on Twitter where he expressed his excitement to once again be part of this beloved series: “I look forward to working with our brilliant creative team as we endeavor to bring a fresh, unexpected and pertinent story to life once more”. Well, we’re also excited! How about you?
