Cristoforo Scorpiniti is an artist that paints with regular paint but also with glow in the dark paint. This brilliant idea makes his artwork visible for people to enjoy in any lighting. Normally, when the lights go out, a beautiful painting just becomes darkness like the rest of the room. And I find that pretty depressing.
With Scorpiniti’s glow in the dark paintings, his work comes to life on the canvas and stays there. So if you happen to live in Alaska, in the parts with the shortest days, one of these glowing paintings might bring some much-needed light to your home. Personally, I’d like a glow in the dark painting done in a window frame. So even when the days are too short and the nights are too long, I can feel like I’m looking out a real window with a real sunset or sunrise.

Crisco is a young Italian artist who likes to create glow in the dark paintings every day
He started working as an artist five years ago and he tought himself everything he knows
Crisco works from his home workshop in Bologna and tries to create a new painting every day
It took him over a year to find his unique style with the glowing colors that give life to the piece even in a dark room
He says his dream is to open an art gallery where he could dispaly his works for everyone to enjoy
