Unique Animal Sculptures Inspired By The Darkest Human Emotions

Behind these terrifying sculptures, is deep and raw human emotion. Beth Cavener is the mastermind behind these hauntingly beautiful creations. Working in Helena, Montana, Cavener reaches into the depths of your minds and creates something unimaginable.

She creates forest animals with a touch of human form that relates to the viewers. She’s quoted as saying,

“I want to pry at those uncomfortable, awkward edges between animal and human. Entangled in their own internal and external struggles, the figures express frustration for the human tendency towards cruelty and lack of understanding. Something conscious and knowing is captured in their gestures and expressions. An invitation and a rebuke.”beth cavener sculpture 3

The things she creates are disturbing to some because of how hard they hit. They provoke deep thoughts and emotions beyond the basic thought. Some people can’t handle that, but if you can then these pieces are purely incredible.

I am fascinated by art, movies and everything that has a creative nature. If you catch me without an internet connection I am probably just dead. Can't manage a full day without a gallery of abstract work or a good movie review because that's just my life. Read my stuff
