Those of you who say love doesn’t last, read this! And the photos…ahem…. Watch the photos as well. Why?
Because this man got married on his 20th birthday 70 years ago. And you know what? He is still making his bride swoon. One cannot help, but wonder what a marriage they’ve had!
Paul Miller, an Arkansas very lovely guy as it seems, sang a romantic rendition of Bing Crosby’s “Let Me Call You Sweetheart” at the ceremony where he and his wife renewed their wedding vows and celebrated their adorable anniversary of their 70-years together. With 60 family members witnessing the serenade, the still young lover pledged his affection for his most beautiful wife. Just watch them! Isn’t that the most beautiful kiss you’ve seen in a while?
“It was so sweet”, one granddaughter recalled. “Their love is definitely a true love”. It makes you believe in love a little more, hope that there is “the one” for each and everyone of us, we just need to find him/her
The couple have so much lover for each other that they feel the need to share it with others as well. And they do, not only with their own family, but with children who need help. Over the years, they invited into their home a number of parentless youth who have aged out of the U.S. foster care system.
When you see something like this, no matter if you have a steel or iron heart, you can believe in love again. It will melt your heart a little bit. Love is, indeed, the greatest force of all and it can unite two souls in an unbreakable bond for (almost) eternity. Love is the answer!
