What is it about animals that makes us love them so much? Their beautiful looks, natural innocence? Or maybe their emotional reactions to us? Whatever it is, we sure know that a life without our pets, is no life at all.
From a scientific point of view – It is said that humans experience an emotional reaction to animals in an old and native way, it happened in a part of our brain that’s called amygdala. This part is in charge of emotional learning and the formation of memories, basically this is how we evaluate animals and determine whether they are friends or foes. And it seems that animals react the same way to us.
