In a well-done portrait, you can read a thousand thoughts, see a hundred tears that have fallen and almost touch a dozen laughters so powerful that almost hurt. A portrait is like looking through the camera lens into a human’s soul and read all the untold thoughts, all the tribulations, sadness, happiness. My favourite part of a portrait, are the eyes, those blue, green or brown windows to the infinite depths of a man’s soul. The portraits you’re about to see below will leave you speechless and with a lot of food for thought and some introspection to do onto yourself.
Here, we will present to you “Your Best Shot 2017 Flickr Group“. What is it exactly? Well, it is a kind of celebration of photography. The best photos of the year are celebrated and their creators, congratulated because they deserve it.
“As every year, we are highlighting our favorite photos from the Your Best Shot group from various themes, and this time we’ve decided to start out with portraits”, says an official article from flickr.
The best thing is that you are invited to participate, also. Just upload your best photos from this year and share it with the Flickr community from the “Your Best Shot 2017 Flickr Group”. You have time to do that until January 3rd, 2018. Go for it! Don’t hide your artistic photographs from the world!
Now, we will leave you with just a selection of the most stunning portraits so far uploaded. Don’t be intimidated, you can do better!
