McDonalds had to have seen this coming. The New Zealand branch of the company decided to launch a ” create your own taste ” campaign where they let the general customers design their own burger and get a free drink and fries in return, pretty sweet deal right? But if you know anything about the internet community ( and you should if you’re going to run such a campaign ) you know that when you ask the internet to fix something,help you edit something, create something, change something, they will take this opportunity and just go crazy and probably make the most offensive and terrible thing they can come up with, just because they can, and it’s pretty damn funny.
So naturally if you browse to the front page of the site, you see exactly what you think you’ll see…wait,maybe you should not browse to that site because there are some horrible images going on there and it’s a nonstop parade of the world’s most racist sandwiches. Hello, it’s 2016, you should know how the internet community works by now.
Just repeating it again so you know what’s up, browsing through that site was like swimming through chaos or a black hole of nazi racist party, it wasnt pretty, most of it is probably gone by now because they cleaned it up, but trust us, the McDonald make your own taste campaign got a surprising result.
