While some people in China build real small robots that can move and complete tasks. a farmer with an education in fine arts and his son are building a giant Transformers sculptures. The sculptures are made out of scrap metal and discarded car parts, one thing that is unique in the work of Yu Zhilin and his son is that the sculptures are almost as tall as the movie originals with Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are the most sophisticated pieces.
Yu Zhilin started building the sculptures 3 years ago and with the help of his son Lu Yingyun the pieces became bigger and more complex. The Transformers brand is huge in China, the last movie ” Age of Extinction ” is the most grossing film in Chinese history, so it’s no wonder they find customers so easy for their work. Right now the father and son are earning 1 million yuan ($160,000) a year, they use most of the money to buy more metal parts to build new sculptures and attract more customers. After reading those lines, we only have one question in mind. When will these learn to talk and fight?
