Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert have always had a talent for summing up the news of the week for us, making us laugh while also considering the changes that are happening in America. On Thursday night, Stewart took over Colbert’s desk at the Late Show to deliver a monologue that was undoubtedly hilarious. He reminded us of the criticism Sean Hannity of Fox News had for President Obama and shed light on the fact that he is now praising Trump for the same things. In other words; the republican party is so proud that Trump has finally learned how to read a teleprompter and colour inside the lines.
Jon Stewart has brought to our attention that the republican party is just grasping for reasons to like Trump. Sean Hannity even described Trump as a “blue collar billionaire” To which Jon mocked “Trump does seem like the kind of guy you want to sit down and own a fleet of airplanes with.”
