One year ago, this adorable, furry and bright eyed husky was found on top of a trash heap suffering from mange, parasites, bacterial infections and malnutrition. Thanks to the caring people at Hope for Paws, Miley has a new look and a new future!
Miley was found barely clinging to life on top of a trash heap by the founder of Hope for Paws, Eldad Hagar. The group spent over an hour gaining the trust of Miley and making sure her rescue was a positive experience for her!
Miley leaves the trash dump to begin healing and start the transformation to her new life!
Being a stray dog is both mentally and physically exhausting. At Hope for Paws, Miley is able to relax and catch up on some much needed rest so that she is able to regain her strength.
Miley had an instant connection with Frankie, a sweet Chihuahua, rescued from a sewer tunnel. The two become fast friends and help each other during the recovery process!
Just a short 10 days later Miley is showing great improvement!
Miley’s sweet charm and amazing story had over 500 applicants vying for the chance to adopt her. She was finally placed in her forever home where she is thriving!
Hagar stops by to visit and get some doggy hugs from Miley!
Hugs were not enough for Miley! She steals a kiss as Hagar is leaving!
Hagar says he “can really feel the appreciation” from the dogs he rescues.
