We have all probably seen the scene from Home Alone where Kevin ends up in an empty house finding a kaleidoscope.
Chances are that if you were a child, the Kaleidoscope scene would leave your jaw dropped. All the colors and movements that complement each other and create such precise patterns couldn’t help but give you a feeling that you were being hypnotized.
Well, there are some lucky kindergarteners in China that getting educated inside a somewhat similar kaleidoscope structure.
This rainbow colored glasses kindergarten building is made out of basic concrete, steel and glass. But the way it was constructed makes it look like something unique out of a sci-fi movie.
The Chinese structure was built by SAKO architects and features 483 colored glass panels that come in different vibrant colors.
These glass panels can be found everywhere on windows, glass doors, handrails, and also stairs.
The bright colors of the glass panels create relaxing interior lights and all sorts of shades the moment sunlight hits the building windows.
These children must be so lucky to wake up early in the morning just to see beautiful lights created from all that color.
The architect that Contributed and built the building explains that the daytime sunlight that enters into the classrooms form colorful lights that boost children’s imagination and creativity.
Although, when the sun starts setting the glowing lights that are placed in the interior of the structure created a beautiful night scene. Another unique feature that this kindergarten has is that almost all the openings are in the form of an arch.
These arched structures come in many different positions and sizes. The architects of the building say that this was done to make the kindergarten look more like a birthday cake.
Other features of the building include having an air-conditioning system as well as a floor heating system. It is spacious to make it possible for children to attend different activities during different seasons throughout the year.
It also has a safe playground on the roof for children to get fresh air and have a beautiful view of the city.
