David Irvine’s project called ” Re-Directed ” is breathing new life into old thrift-store paintings. He likes to take these old things and give them more shazam by adding colourful characters. Storm-troopers go ice skating with Lord Vader on a meadow, Jesus Christ is enjoying himself on a Segway, these are just two examples but what is certain is that these paintings are born again , the illustrations are a range of quite fitting to somewhat random like the aircraft stairs in the middle of nowhere, but that’s what makes his work even more interesting. David Irvine is not a new artist. he has been creating art for some time now and has done this upcycling art and sculpturing before. If you take his experience you have more than 25 years of hard work. Make sure to jump to his Etsy shop and get your own if you like, also visit these social links : Website | facebook
