Everyone say hi to Russel, this poor cat was rescued from a house fire, he suffered from 3d degree burns and amputations and he also spent the last year caring and nursing other animals at the Animal Emergency Hospital & Urgent Care in Noth Carolina
Russel, who is still recovering, by the way, goes from room to room visiting his other animal friends that are in distress. This little cat won’t rest unless the staff encourages it to rest
” He wants to meet all our patients, he just wants to be with all of them,” the hospital staff says
” I don’t know if he can sense that other animals are in pain, but he does seem to have some weird knack for connecting with patients “
Russel has recently had to have his foot operated on and he will never fully recover, however , donations have made it possible for him to live at the hospital full time where he will surely be loved and taken care of
