This story has all the feels, during a routine daddy-daughter date, Joey Mustain and his little daughter, Stella were out eating at Chick-fil-A when suddenly they noticed a homeless man walks in and ask if the store can give him any leftovers.
Like in most cases, the dad and his daughter watched as the people in the restaurant glanced at the homeless man and turned to give him a cold shoulder. While the man waited for the manager dad describes the man as such ” Mud was wet and caked on his well-traveled shoes. His hair was matted, and his beard wasn’t a statement as much as it was a necessity and a sign that he doesn’t get to shave as often as most of us do. People near him kept their distance ” Mustin wrote on his facebook page.
When the manager step out to the man, he didn’t even noticed his appearance and he told the homeless he would gladly give him a hot meal if he will agree to pray with him. Mustain thought this was beautiful.
” After the homeless man agreed, there was no waiting for things to die down, there was no scooting anyone to the side. As busy as they were, the manager stopped then and there, laid his hand on the man, and proceeded to pray. I heard love in that prayer. The homeless man wasn’t some untouchable stain on business. He was the reason that store opened its doors this morning ( or any morning )
Mustain turned to his daughter and told her to watch, he wanted her to see this rare event of principles and ministry being prioritized over profit. Stella also bowed her head to join the prayer, and the happy father knew she has learned something important today.
Mustain ended his facebook post by thanking Chick-fil-A for giving his daughter a good example. The post has over 120,000 shares right no.
