It’s been almost 3 days now since the internet absolute queen of memes, the Grumpy Cat has passed away, but her memory shall not be forgotten. She has gone down in history as the Internet’s meme queen and her sarcasm and grumpiness will be revered by generations to come. The feline legend who never gave up on her grumpy temper has been the source of thousands of memes for almost 7 years since her discovery. Unfortunately, she has met an untimely demise at the age of 7 due to complications from a urinary tract infection. “She passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, May 14, at home in the arms of her mommy, Tabatha” says the official statement from Grump Cat’s Twitter.
Grumpy raised to fame in 2012, when the owner’s brother posted a picture of her on Reddit. Her unbelievable grumpy face quickly became a magnet for memes of any kind, bringing smile and sharing laughter with the world.
