Deadpool fans, listen up! There is another Deadpool sequence coming. You probably knew that, but what you didn’t knew is that it is happening now. Right now, as we speak, pardon, write these lines, Ryan Reynolds might be shooting some badass scenes again.
How do we know for sure? He has posted a picture on Instagram from the actual movie set of Deadpool 2. And what a picture! The official slate for the movie, first take, roll 6. Yes, yes, it is happening. And Ryan Reynolds followed his post with some sincere and humorous lines: “The sun sets on day 1. Feels good to be back. This dog can hunt”. Sure he can!
Now, what will Deadpool 2 be about? Do you guys have any ideas? There have been some rumours of some X-Men involvement here and there and we’re pretty excited about that. We last heard from Deadpool in a pre-Logan teaser, featuring some speculation about the X-Men playing some part in the sequel. Moreover, in March, Atlanta star Zazie Beetz joined the cast. 10 days ago, Ryan Reynolds posted another teaser photo. This time, we see him taking a nap on the pavement, in front of some very special residence. The post read: “Dropped by X-Mansion. Looked closely for Beast’s lawn bombs before taking well deserved nap”. How cool is that?
Deadpool and X-Men, after we’ve been moved by Logan and also, impressed by the first Deadpool, is a crazy combination and we’re looking forward to it. We’re going to go prepare our popcorn.
Deadpool 2 is currently scheduled for a summer 2018 release. We’re going to have another superhero kind of summer and we cannot complain about it. Can you?
