Shower thoughts are the best kinds of thoughts. Next to the fantastical ideas you have when you’re really high. The two are pretty similar. They’re just weird little epiphanies you have for no reason. Your mind trails off into lala land and you come up with random ideas.
These shower thoughts are kind of a big deal. They even have their own subreddit now. Some of these shower thoughts make you think. Some are weird and confusing and some just completely blow your mind. I wonder how many historically brilliant ideas were thought up in the shower.
One of my favorite is “if I punch myself in the face and it hurts… does that make me weak or strong.?” What’s the answer? Nobody knows. But we’re all going to be pondering the answer to that question for the rest of our lives.
