In 2004 , a horrible car accident took the life of her husband and left her 14-week-old baby with severe injuries fighting for his life. The doctors told Kellie at the time that her son Eli would probably won’t make it and if he did, he would not be able to walk , talk or show any emotion. But a week later, something incredible happened.
She got her baby home, and he started to get better, ” It’s now 10 years later and i want to find the team of heroes that helped save my son’s life…and thank them ”
She spent months researching the men and women who helped rescue her son and took care of him in the hospital, the doctors who gave her hope, the ones who preformed the surgeries, you can see Kellie thanking each one of them in the video below. Amanda Scarpinati that took care of her infant, ” You were just such an important part of saving his life ” Kellie says to Suzy, one of the women on the hospital medical team.
” You were the first doctor that believed in us and believed in me and believed that there was a solution ” she tells to one of the doctors. Each one of the persons she thank is touched that someone would even remember after 10 years, their response will take your heart away.
