So we all know by now that Dwayne Johnson is the best celebrity ever! He manages to surprise us every time with new heartwarming actions towards his fans or even random people who just need some pick me up. This time The Rock was sent a story to read by his friend Shawn Perine about a brave guy named Matt Klutka who has terminal cancer and has only a few weeks left to live. Shawn told The Rock that Matt is a huge fan of him and he thinks a phone call from him would mean the world to Matt.
The Rock didn’t hesitate and replied with a simple ” Are you kidding me? I’ll call him in 15 minutes! ” And as it turned out, that call will forever be in his heart.
Here is a piece of the conversation they had from Dwayne Johnson Facebook page ” Matt couldn’t have been more upbeat and positive. We talked about our favorite movies, our passion for hard core workouts ( he still trains hard and pushes himself DAILY ), told a dirty joke or two and talked about our pride of being fathers ( he has an 11yr old son Cebran and says ” I couldn’t ask for a better kid!” ). As we wrapped up the call i told him how proud i was of him and how much just hearing his voice has inspired me. He thanked me from the bottom of his heart and said with vigor and determination, ” I just gotta keep pushing ” I hung the phone a grateful man and knew how blessed i was to hear his voice “
The Rock then continues to write on his page that he thanks Matt for being an inspiration and reminding us all that time is our greatest currency and we should use it as best we can, have as much fun as we can and love strongly as we can. You never know when our time will be up. Last words were, ” Stay strong brother. Keep pushing…keep pushing
