Everyone has heard the old adage “people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones”. Kazakh architect Aibek Almassov, doesn’t care! He’s more concerned with seeing his ecologically sound glass tree house design coming to fruition.
He first dreamed up the nature friendly design in 2013, but didn’t have the proper funding. His hopes are now renewed with the interest shown by A. Masow Architects’, a glass and solar panel manufacturer that has taken an interest in the design.
With their financial backing, Almassov’s “Tree in the House” can soon be more than just a dream. The bold architect has been searching for funding since creating earth friendly design 2 years ago. He came up with the design in an effort to show respect to nature.
Instead of destroying the trees in the forests, we could exist in harmony with nature by building tubular homes around them. Even though the design is meant to be earth-friendly, it looks stylish and modern with ample room for easy living. More info: Amasow
