People are always saying the most important thing in life is your health, but how many of us really take care of our body? Yeah…we know. Below are ten advices on how to stay young and healthy written originally by a Shaolin monk who was a martial artist and scholar.
This might sound weird, but don’t think too much. Thinking hard takes energy. Thinking can make you look old.
Walk the walk, Most people talk too much, people are divided by people who mostly talk, and people who mostly do. It’s better to do.
When concentrating at work, work for 40 minutes straight then take a break for 10 minutes. When you look at something for a long time, it can damage your eyes and internal organs.
This might be surprising but when you’re happy, control it, if you lose control you can damage your lung energy.
If you don’t want to damage your liver and intestines, try not to worry too much or get angry.
Don’t stuff yourself with food, always stop just before you’re full to prevent spleen damage.
Do things well, don’t rush it. Remember the saying ” Hasten slowly you will soon arrive “
You need to do exercise, both physical and mental, if you only do physical exercise you will lose your balance and might become impatient. You will lose the Yin of your body. You need the Yang too.
This is the opposite of the previous tip, You need to exercise your Yang to maintain balance in your life.
Practice Shaolin Gong Fu – it will give you everything you need, it will balance your Yin and Yang. Don’t worry how many hours you have, you need to know what your body needs.
