I’ve said before that Japan does technology and science way better than us in the US, but I think China’s going to give Japan a run for their money. This is the Transit Elevated Bus, or TEB. I’m sure everyone has seen little bits of news about this floating around the internet for a while. You probably thought it was a cool concept but not likely to happen anytime soon. Well, think again! The TEB had its first test run yesterday.
TEB is powered by electricity, is about 72 feet long and 25 feet wide and can carry 300 passengers. In the future, it may hold even more than 300 passengers. This high-tech bus will be able to hit a max speed of 40 miles per hour, once it’s officially launched. It seems that other countries are even jealous of China’s incredible talent for invention as Brazil, France, India and Indonesia have already reached out to possibly license their own version of the Transit Elevated Bus. Take a look at the pics and tell us what you think in the comments!
