This little cat was abandoned and living on the streets of Istanbul , it was crying day and night and sleeping in a garbage can on the side of the street
Think about it, every day the local population would walk by this little girl and no one noticed her. Istanbul has 14 million people living it. yet this girl was not heard
Until one day, a 7 years old girl heard her cries and rushed to rescue her from the garbage
The girl’s father is a doctor so she knew to take the cat to him as fast as possible due to the poor condition it was in
Once they got there, a nurse started to treat the injured cat right away. it was no easy task as her face was infested with maggots and mites
Her ears and mouth were also deformed. Probably from being attacked by other cats
But with lots of love and dedication they were able to save this poor girl and nurse it back to health. the girl named it Gulumser ” She who always smile “
Now the two are inseparable, this is the only photo we found of the girl who saved the cat’s life
After a few weeks you could see that Gulumser was starting to heal, her fur grew back and her wounds looked much better
Look at Gulumser now, she looks pretty good, right ? thanks to a caring young girl this little cat won her life back
