This California Home Is Like Going Back In Time To 1969

Would  you ever believe that this California home was last decorated and designed in 1969 and was built the same year? Well, it obviously doesn’t look like it was, but this is an absolute fact. The first owner of the Palm Spring home designed the entire living room, guest room, and dining area with the shade of green and emerald velvet.

The succeeding couple who just passed away recently whose children listed the house for $850,000 never modified anything  except  for some beautifications in the kitchen.

“It’s in incredible condition,” said listing agent Lucio Bernal of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices/California Properties. “To re-create that stuff today would be pretty expensive.”

There’s the family room that is wood paneled, with an exquisite chandeliers hanging and a master bath with a giant terrazzo bathtub in the center.

This Palm Spring home that resembles a very classic museum quality house that measures about 3,350-square-foot obviously drew so much attention and attraction as well. “A photographer is coming from Australia in the next few weeks to do a retro ’60s photo shoot in the house,” Bernal said.
