French photographer Leo Caillard created this epic gallery of classical statues called ” Street Stone”, in order to do it right, Leo teamed up with French art director Alexis Persani and together they dressed the ancient Louvre’s sculptures in trendy clothes making them hipsters AF.
To make his idea a reality, Leo first photographed the classical statues and his friends standing in similar poses as the statues. After he used photoshop to stack the friends photos over the statues and erasing everything but the clothes on their bodies. This leaves you with the impression that the classical statues are wearing hip clothes and are up to modern times.
By creating this cool gallery, the artists wanted to show that society changed a lot over the years and keeps on changing and evolving, You will agree the results are pretty darn funny. It can also show that our clothes have a huge impact on how we look. Whether we like it or not.
