“Will you play with me?” asked the building with excitement. This could be the perfect beginning of the story about Valencia-based couple Anna Devis and Daniel Rueda and their interesting work. This simpatico and beyond all creative couple is doing exactly that – they go out on the streets and play with buildings and other architecture.
Minimalistic style with a dose of wit is my cup of tea when it comes to almost anything and especially photography. And this couple has been created images of that particular kind. Ann and Daniel have the streets as a workplace and the best part is that it can be in any city across the globe. They interact with the architecture in an adorable way, playing with shapes, colors, and geometry, putting themselves in various poses. The results are incredibly playful images that will make you look twice and smile.
Devis is an illustrator and designer, while Rueda is a trained architect. If you’d like to see Devis’ art, check out her blog. Rueda’s architectural projects and his portfolio can be seen at his website. And, if you just can’t get enough of their fun photographs, check out Devis‘ and Rueda‘s Instagram accounts.
